Canterbury Park Racetrack & Card Club

Canterbury Park, one of the greatest racetracks in America, offers live horse racing action from May to August. The Casino features a unique mix of both poker and casino games with table-side food and beverage service. Nickelodeon Universe

Featuring seven acres of unique indoor attractions and entertainment, Nickelodeon Universe® is a one-of-a-kind theme park – the only exclusive Nickelodeon theme park in the world — located in the center of Mall of America® .

Visitors can meet their favorite Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants , Dora the Explorer , Diego , Jimmy Neutron , and many more! Experience thrilling rides such as the Avatar Airbender with rotating free falls, SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge, a high speed looping roller coaster, the Splat-O-Sphere 60' spring tower and the Rugrats Reptarmobiles bumper cars. Nickelodeon Universe is taking the thrill to the next level with the addition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock , the first ever ride of its kind in the United States. Themed after the popular animated series, the interactive ride puts the adventure in guests' hands as they control their experience from take-off to landing. To celebrate the addition, 836 fans broke the world record for the largest gathering of Ninja Turtles! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Shell Shock takes riders 70 feet in the air in a matter of seconds reaching up to 25 mph. With 12 single bucket seats at the end of a cantilevered arm that rotates around a central tower, this ride is a thrill-seekers dream. Each guest will control their seat which can rotate wildly like a plane propeller or a gentle teeter-totter like a see-saw making no two ride experiences the same.

Barnacle Blast Zip Line – Take flight on this thrilling zip line experience at Nickelodeon Universe. You'll ride 55 feet above the amusement park for a journey of a grand total of 410 feet!

Valleyfair Amusement Park

Visit the greatest outdoor amusement park in the Twin Cities! Valleyfair features over 75 amazing rides and attractions, including eight exhilarating roller coasters that will drop you from great heights, make quick turns and even twist you upside down! There's also a variety of family and children's rides for those that need something less intense, including Planet Snoopy, which features over 17 Peanuts™ themed rides and attractions!

At Route 76, bring yourself back to amusement park Americana with Antique Autos, the Scrambler and Flying Eagles. Reach for the stars on North Star, a 230-foot-tall tower that will spin riders more than 20 stories above the ground. Valleyfair is turning things upside down with Delirious, a 70-foot looping thrill ride. Riders zoom upside-down on a seven-story, 360-degree freestanding structure with a high capacity, high-speed train. Vikings Museum

From early football in Minnesota to the Minneapolis Miracle, the Vikings Museum chronicles significant moments in franchise history in a sparkling, 14,000-square-foot facility that is part of Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. Located just south of TCO Stadium and adjacent to the Vikings Locker Room Store, the museum features exhibits on the evolution of the team's logo and uniforms, permanent home venues and the accomplishments of players and coaches over the years.

Tickets: $15 adults; $12 senior (over 65); $10 child ticket (ages 6-12); Free for children 5 and under

Hours of operation (subject to change): Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (last ticket sold at 5:00 p.m.); Sunday, Noon-5 p.m. (last ticket sold at 4 p.m.)

During training camp: Throughout training camp, only those fans with training camp tickets will be able to access Vikings Museum.

Viking Lakes

Eagan is the new home of the Minnesota Vikings! The team's headquarters and practice facility, located off of I-494 at the intersection of Dodd Road and Lone Oak Parkway, includes Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, a world-class indoor training facility with a 100-yard synthetic surface field, large locker room, expanded weight room and media production studio. It also features an expandable outdoor stadium that seats 6,000 to 10,000 people. This 40-acre campus called Viking Lakes is being built in phases, but the first phase is now complete.
