i Take advantage of the beautiful outdoors that Eagan has to offer and enjoy a day playing 9 or 18, or take a shot at tennis at one of many Eagan public parks. There are also miles of trails for hiking and biking and opportunities to play inside, just take a look below to see what we have to offer.

City of Eagan Parks

Eagan's park facilities offer a chance for everyone to play, no matter what age, interest, physical ability, or desire. The City of Eagan offers over 1,370 acres of “play space” to discover your individual talents and interests; sports, bird watching, skateboarding or just lounging beside a lake.

Big Rivers Regional Trail

One of the best scenic trails in Minnesota is Dakota County's Big Rivers Regional Trail . It features paved paths along the state's oldest rail beds and offers spectacular views of Fort Snelling, Pike Island, skyline views of both downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul and the Mississippi and Minnesota River valleys.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park

Encompassing nearly 2,000 acres, this incredible park offers miles of trails and lakes for year-round outdoor sports, recreation and environmental education.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park

Lebanon Hills Regional Park is the largest park in the Dakota County park system. Containing almost 2,000 acres, the park offers miles of trails and many lakes for year-round outdoor sports, recreation and environmental education . In the winter, you can go cross-country skiing, ice skating, kicksledding, mountain biking, ski skating, sledding, and snowshoeing!

Outdoor Ice Rinks

Enjoy the many beautiful sites and sounds of a Minnesota winter by skating outside at one of the many outdoor ice rinks. There are many hockey rinks and many skating (pleasure) rinks, with some being staffed and some not — click the link below to learn more about the outdoor ice!

Trapp Farm Park

This snow tubing hill is located on Wilderness Run Road between Dodd Road and Lexington Avenue. Approximately 75 tubes designed for winter tubing are available. To ensure the safety of all guests, you may not bring any of your own inner tubes, sleds, toboggans or other sledding devices during regular hours in the designated tubing area. Participants must be able to walk up the hill as tow ropes are not available at this facility.

We'll admit it, Eagan is not Northern Minnesota when it comes to fishing. However, we are still in the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” and there are some great lakes in Eagan for a nice and relaxing afternoon of hopeful bites.
